What is XPEL Fusion Plus?
XPEL is best known for paint protection film. Fusion Plus is its ceramic coating line, positioned as the topcoat for XPEL film and as a stand-alone coating for paint, glass, wheels, and interiors. XPEL's FAQ confirms Fusion Plus is designed to be compatible with its films and will not void the PPF warranty. XPEL does not publish a Fusion Plus installed price or a stand-alone coating warranty term on the product page; ask the dealer for the current terms. The 10-year XPEL warranty people quote applies to Ultimate Fusion film, not the coating.
Does Fusion Plus self-heal?
Not according to XPEL's own material. Self-healing is a property of XPEL's Ultimate Plus and Ultimate Fusion films, whose top coat reflows light scratches with heat. Fusion Plus is a ceramic coating and behaves like one: hard, slick, hydrophobic, and permanent once marred until polished.
How does Revivify compare on film and on paint?
Revivify bonds to PPF the same way it bonds to paint and adds its own self-healing on top of the film's. On bare paint, it replaces the ceramic entirely with a flexible film roughly 8 to 10 times thicker than a cured ceramic. Many owners run film on the front end and Revivify over the whole car. The verdict
If you already have XPEL film and want the coating the film maker designed for it, Fusion Plus is the default. If you want self-healing on the paint itself, or one coating across film and paint with a published price, Revivify is the different answer.
