Revivify coating in Charleston, SC
Charleston Window Films has built a reputation in Charleston, SC for protecting vehicles with precision and care — and their certification as a Revivify installer puts them at the forefront of automotive paint protection in the Lowcountry. If you're tired of watching swirls, water spots, and road grime dull your vehicle's finish in the coastal South Carolina climate, Revivify's silicon-based coating technology offers a genuinely different solution.
Unlike rigid ceramic coatings that can crack or haze over time, Revivify is a flexible, self-healing silicon coating engineered to erase micro-scratches and swirl marks on its own — all it takes is a little warmth from the sun or a rinse with warm water. It bonds to your paint to deliver deep, lasting gloss while guarding against UV fade, oxidation, corrosion, rock chips, and the stubborn water spotting that Charleston's humidity and coastal air are notorious for producing.
Every Revivify application by Charleston Window Films is backed by a multi-year, CARFAX-registered warranty — with expanded insurance-backed coverage rolling out in 2026 — so your investment is protected long after you drive off the lot. Serving Charleston and the surrounding area, Charleston Window Films brings certified expertise and a proven product together for drivers who refuse to settle for a faded finish.
What customers say
“Great experience workin w Joel. Very professional and took great care of my Grand Cherokee while I was at work. Tint looks amazing and received a ton of compliments already. 💯will call Charleston window films again for any work!”
“Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. I live out of state, but I was coming to Charleston for a visit so I made an appointment to get the windows tinted on my brand new car. I chose Charleston Window Films because they did a fantastic job on my last car in 2021 and I love to support a small business in my home town. I didn’t even think to look at recent reviews. I regret my decision entirely. While the pricing is reasonable and the service was done in a timely manner, the quality of the work and the treatment of customers is atrocious. When I got my car back, the first thing I noticed was a wrinkle in the tint on the driver side window. The guy at the shop said it would go away once the tint cured in a couple of days to a week (it’s been a little over two weeks and it’s still there exactly as it was the first day). Next, I noticed how dirty they left my car. There were water spots all over the outside of the doors that were tinted. Inside, there were water spots on the doors, the center console, the dash and a puddle of water just sitting on the dash under the infotainment screen. By the end of the day I noticed several wrinkles and spots with debris under the tint. The next day, I called the shop to let them know that I was not happy with the quality of work and would need it removed and my money refunded. We also discussed a scratch on my side view mirror that I hadn’t noticed prior to the service, but they assured me they checked the cameras and it was not their employees’ doing. I was told they would redo the tint, but I was not comfortable with them doing it again and said that wouldn’t work. I made an appointment to come back the next time I was in town to have the tint stripped and my money refunded. I received a text confirming my appointment. One week before my appointment, I received a text saying my appointment was canceled. I did not receive any contact explaining the cancellation, so I called the shop. I was told that the boss said they won’t issue a refund until I let them try again. I then asked to speak to the boss and Derek was put on the phone. I explained my situation— I live out of state and didn’t have time to potentially have to come back twice if I let them try again. Derek said that’s their policy. I have never seen this policy posted anywhere nor did I sign anything agreeing to this policy, so I explained again that I was unhappy with the tint, wanted it removed and my money refunded. Derek refused to work with me, so I asked to be put in contact with the owner, Joel. I did not get any contact from Joel on that Friday, so I sent in an email asking for the owner to contact me regarding my situation. On Tuesday morning, I called and asked that Joel contact me. I was told he would call me in two hours as soon as he got in the office. Three hours later (and no call), I called the shop again and I was told Joelle would call me as soon as he got into the office. I never received a phone call from Joel. Do not use this company if you’re looking for excellent customer service and high quality work.”
“The worst business I have ever dealt with. The owner Joel lacks communication and customer service skills, the workers are low quality and incompetent, and the quality of work is horrendous. Over the span of 4-5 tint jobs that were continuously redone due to broken tint meters, bubbles, felt/debris stuck behind the tint (see photos) and even a large velcro type feature across my entire window, my car was very poorly treated. Trash left on the floor including razors and scraping tools, a loose door panel which I have yet to fix, white stuff stuck all over my door panels, and scratches all over my windows including one that is brand new from the factory (see photos). I was blamed continuously for their poor work and incompetency. Not to mention, there were several appointments I had scheduled and showed up for with no one at the office, or being told they couldn’t take care of me at the moment. They claim a lifetime warranty, but will void it at any inconvenience in which they can’t do your tint properly. They won’t refund you either, not leaving many options. If you’re lucky enough and sit in the shop for hours waiting to talk to the owner, one of the young employees might come mention, “hey we gon cash app you bruh you gotta go” as they did to me. I would recommend you learn how to tint your own windows before wasting your time here. Out of all the tint jobs they did on my car, not a single job was completed without bubbles in the final product accompanied by snarky, rude attitudes from the employees and owner.”

Frequently asked
What makes Charleston Window Films' Revivify coating different from a standard ceramic coating?
Most ceramic coatings are rigid and can develop micro-cracks or haze over time. Revivify is a flexible silicon coating that actually self-heals — light heat from the Charleston sun or a warm-water rinse causes the coating to flow back over swirls and micro-scratches, erasing them. Charleston Window Films applies it as a certified installer, so you're getting both the right product and the trained hands to install it correctly.
Does the Revivify coating come with a warranty when installed by Charleston Window Films?
Yes. Every Revivify installation performed by Charleston Window Films comes with a multi-year warranty that gets registered directly to your vehicle's CARFAX record — so it follows the car, not just the owner. Expanded insurance-backed coverage is also rolling out in 2026, giving Charleston drivers even more peace of mind.
Why is paint protection especially important for vehicles in Charleston, SC?
Charleston's coastal environment is tough on vehicle finishes. Salt air accelerates oxidation and corrosion, UV exposure is intense year-round, and humidity leads to stubborn water spotting. Revivify's silicon formula addresses all of these — UV resistance, corrosion protection, and water-spot defense — making it a particularly smart choice for drivers in and around the Charleston area.
How do I book an appointment with Charleston Window Films for a Revivify installation?
You can reach out to Charleston Window Films directly through their contact information listed on this profile page.
