How long does Revivify coating last?
Revivify coating lifespan depends on the tier: SH Lite lasts 2 years, SH Ultra Pro lasts 3–5 years, and CarbonX lasts 7+ years under normal use. Self-healing capability is active for the full lifespan. All Revivify coatings are backed by a warranty when applied by a certified installer.

What affects coating lifespan?
Real-world lifespan depends on:
- Climate: Coatings in mild climates last longest. Extreme heat (Phoenix, Houston), intense UV, or harsh winters with road salt shorten lifespan slightly.
- Use case: A daily commuter sees more wear than a garage-kept weekend car.
- Wash routine: Automatic car washes with brushes shorten lifespan. Hand wash or touchless wash extends it.
- Maintenance: Periodic top-up products (like SH Topper) extend lifespan another 12 months per application.
How do I know when the coating is wearing out?
Watch for these signs:
- Water no longer beads tightly (slow loss of hydrophobic effect)
- Surface feels rougher to the touch (the slick "glass" feel fades)
- Light scratches no longer self-heal with sunlight
- Paint starts to feel more "grippy" when sliding a microfiber across it

Is the warranty void if I do anything wrong?
The Revivify warranty covers the coating against normal wear and manufacturer defects for the stated lifespan. It does NOT cover:
- Damage from accidents or impacts that penetrate the coating
- Damage from non-approved cleaning chemicals (acid washes, abrasive compounds)
- Coatings applied by non-certified individuals
- Coatings on substrates not approved (e.g., below-waterline marine application)
