🚗 Applications & Professional Use

Revivify CarbonX is suitable for all exterior surfaces, including paint, plastics, and metal trim. This product is typically applied by certified professionals for high-end detailing and protection packages.

📝 Directions for Use

1. Application: Apply CarbonX generously and evenly to the surface using the correct and approved application pad (following your training).

2. Process: Use a consistent pattern (side-to-side or front-to-rear) to apply one layer without excessive overlapping. Do not travel back and forth over the product once it has been laid down.

3. Wait Times: Ensure you adhere to the critical wait times with CarbonX. The wait times with our new version of CarbonX is a lot less. Flash time before leveling can be as low as 3 minutes on hot humid days and up to 8 minutes on cooler or cold days and will vary depending upon climate, air flow, humidity, and inside shop temperatures.

4. Leveling: Once the wait times are complete, begin leveling CarbonX as per your training. Use only the approved microfiber leveling towels and follow the three-step leveling process to achieve a perfect finish.

5. Initial Curing: Curing time for customer pick-up can be within 1 to 2 hours. However, if it’s raining or snowing please allow at least 24 hours before customer pick up.

6. Total Curing: Total curing time is 3 to 5 days depending on climate conditions.

   • Tip: Using an IR (infrared) short wave curing lamp will accelerate the overall curing process, allowing customers to drive in bad weather much sooner.

7. Troubleshooting: Refer to the official troubleshooting video for addressing high-spots and streaks, as you would with other Revivify coating products.

🛡️ Applying Additional Layers (Maximum of 3)

1. Repeat Application: Follow the application instructions above for each additional layer.

2. Cure Between Layers: Allow each layer to cure for a minimum of 1 to 1.5 hours before applying the next layer.

3. Fogging Correction: If fogging appears on the second or third layer, gently continue to wipe the area a few more times until the fogging completely dissipates. Do not allow the product to cure while fogging is still visible.
